Job Description

As a Full-Stack Software Engineer at Pitchit, you will take full ownership of our customer-facing web application’s frontend and backend. You will work closely with our AI/ML team to integrate intelligent features into the product and collaborate across departments to influence our product roadmap and technical direction. In this role, you will use your experience with Django and Next.js (React) to build robust, scalable features. You should be comfortable driving projects end-to-end on AWS, ensuring our platform remains performant and reliable at scale.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain the customer-facing web application using Django (Python) for the backend and Next.js/React for the frontend.
Build scalable APIs and database schemas to support new features and AI-driven functionality.
Collaborate closely with the AI/ML engineering team to integrate cutting-edge AI features (e.g., machine learning models, automation agents) into the product workflow.
Own the full software development lifecycle: write clean, well-tested code; deploy updates on AWS; and monitor performance, security, and reliability.
Work with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define requirements, scope projects, and deliver solutions that align with business goals.
Advocate for best practices in development and contribute to shaping the technical roadmap and engineering culture at Pitchit.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in software engineering, with hands-on experience in both backend and frontend development.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
