About the Role

Job Title: Software Engineer
Location: unspecified
Employment Type: Full-time
Department: Engineering
Salary: £70-120k
Experience Level: Mid and Senior level

Responsibilities:

• Join the engineering team to build and maintain the Continuous Security Testing and AI Red Teaming Platform.
• Work on capabilities across SaaS web apps, including integrations that protect customer systems and internal tooling for AI threat intelligence.
• Build, test, and continuously deliver small, high-quality changes to production.
• Pair program with team members to collaboratively build and share knowledge.
• Collaborate with product stakeholders to plan and design platform improvements.
• Participate in customer calls to understand needs and help design solutions.

Qualifications:

• Mission-driven and caring about helping people use AI safely.
• Kind and curious, always seeking to improve technology and products for customers.
• Experienced in building SaaS products (preferably 4+ years of experience).
• Competent in programming languages such as Python, Typescript, Golang, and Java, including their ecosystems (e.g., FastAPI, Pytest).
• Collaborative and comfortable with pair programming.
• Expert knowledge in using tests to drive application design.
• Experienced with building and operating production distributed systems.

Desirable Skills:

• Background in offensive security (e.g., Penetration Testing, Red Teaming).
• Experience with AI systems (building or using).
• Experience working in startups.
• Experience in an SRE function.
• Contributions to open-source projects.
