Who we need

The GoodVision team is looking for a new Software Engineer with a strong backend focus. Our platform processes raw data from AI systems, stores and enriches them, and provides advanced analytics and distribution through multiple APIs.

You will help design and build new functionality across our backend platform, working mainly in Java, with serverless functions and jobs also written in Java, Go, and Python. Our architecture is highly scalable, serverless, and highly available, running on AWS. Because AI is a key part of our ecosystem, experience with AI agents or AI providers is a must.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to system and solution design
• Build new backend and serverless functionality
• Write, test, and document reliable code
• Participate in technical documentation and RFCs
• Improve data storage, access patterns, and performance

Requirements

• Strong backend engineering experience
• Solid hands-on knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, and Hibernate
• Experience with PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, or similar databases
• Experience with cloud platforms, ideally AWS
• Familiarity with scalable, serverless, and highly available systems
• Experience with AI agents and AI providers

• Understand devops/pipelines/automations with real experience (Gitlab)
• Self-organised approach to work

Nice to have

• Experience with Go, Python and Rust
• FE is not something that you are afraid of
• Understanding of message queues (SQS, AWS Kinesis, Kafka)
