Your Role

As a Software Engineering Intern at Qantev, you will be an integral part of our dynamic engineering team, collaborating closely with experienced developers and technical experts to design, develop, and deploy scalable and high-performance software solutions that power our innovative enterprise-grade products. You will have the opportunity to:

• Gain a deep understanding of our software architecture and cloud-agnostic environment.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of new features and enhancements for our core platform, including APIs, data processing pipelines, and user-facing applications.
• Develop and maintain robust, scalable, and efficient code in Python and TypeScript that meets high quality standards.
• Actively participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring adherence to best practices, coding standards, and architectural guidelines.
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues and bugs across our application stack.
• Collaborate with data scientists, product managers, and other engineers to translate requirements into technical specifications and deliver innovative features.
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve our software architecture, development processes, and overall system performance.

Preferred Experience

Your Profile

We are looking for a highly motivated individual who meets the following criteria:

• Seeking a 4-6 month internship.
• Strong foundation in Computer Science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, and software engineering principles.
• Demonstrated ability to write clear, maintainable, and efficient production-quality code.
• Familiarity with at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Go, Java, TypeScript, C++).
• Familiarity with web frameworks (e.g., React for frontend, Django or FastAPI for backend) and relational databases (SQL).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex problems and design elegant solutions.
• Fluent in English.

Bonus Skills

• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Previous product led startup experience or working within an agile framework.
• A good sense of humor!
