About Lexcar:

This is a contract role with a $38/hour salary for a 3-month period, with the potential for a full-time opportunity based on performance.

Job Description:

We are now looking for a Summer 2026 Full-Stack Software Engineer Interns to help build, enhance, and scale Lexcar’s platform. You’ll work across both the frontend and backend, collaborating closely with our team to create seamless user experiences and AI-driven features. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career to gain hands-on experience in a fast-moving startup environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain both frontend and backend components of Lexcar’s platform.
Build and optimize responsive, user-friendly interfaces using modern frameworks.
Design and develop scalable APIs to integrate AI-driven functionalities.
Work with databases to manage vehicle history data efficiently.
Debug, troubleshoot, and improve platform performance and security.
Collaborate with the team to define new features and product improvements.

Qualifications:

0-2 years of experience in software development (internship or project experience counts!).
Familiarity with frontend frameworks (React, Vue.js, or Angular).
Knowledge of backend development using Node.js, Python, or similar technologies.
Experience working with databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Firebase, etc.).
Understanding of RESTful APIs, authentication, and cloud services is a plus.
Passion for AI, automation, and emerging technologies.
Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Stipend: $38/hr
