We are seeking a software engineer to help architect and launch Bot Auto’s Operations Automation Platform—a suite of internal products that streamlines fleet operations and automates data flows. In this role, you will harness state-of-the-art technologies to streamline and elevate every aspect of fleet operations management and administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Discover inefficiencies in workspace, analyze ROI, architect scalable and innovative solutions, leveraging latest technologies and modern tech stacks. Apply critical thinking in prioritization, user experience and future evolutions.
- Design and build a modular, extensible and intelligent Fleet Operations platform, which will play a critical role in the future of Transportation as a Service (TaaS)
- Work with teams across the company and implement the company-wide knowledge graph, with a semi-automated pipeline that continuously updates and indexes the content for adoption. Leverage technologies like LLM to help various roles to resolve knowledge gaps within seconds instead of hours;
- Stay up to date on latest technologies like LLM and run fast experiments to create multiplier opportunities. Make it effortless for teams to adopt what make sense to them and produce meaningful productivity gains
Qualifications
Required
:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 1+ years of professional software-development experience.
- Frequently explore and adopt latest technologies like LLM to accelerate workplace outcomes and qualities
- Proficiency in Python and/or Node.js
- Strong experience of modern architectures including micro service and event-driven architecture.
- Proven track record of implementing and managing software development and deployment lifecycles, including CI & CD.
Preferred
- Full-stack development experience.
- Indie-maker background.
- Awards in competitive programming contests.
- This role requires to be onsite at Houston, TX location.
