Markopolo.ai is an AI-native growth marketing platform that builds autonomous “AI agents” to run, optimize, and scale marketing and sales for consumer businesses. It enables brands to automate campaigns, personalize customer engagement, and drive conversions across multiple channels with minimal manual effort.
About the Role
We are looking for a Software Engineer who thrives in startup environments and enjoys solving complex problems. This role is ideal for engineers who learn fast, ask good questions, and ship consistently.
What You'll Do
- Write clean, tested, production-grade code in Python and/or TypeScript.
- Assist in building and testing streaming data infrastructure (event ingestion, processing, storage).
- Debug and resolve production incidents with guidance from senior engineers.
- Write unit/integration tests.
- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and technical discussions.
- Document your work clearly—we value engineers who write well.

- Proficient in English communication, both written and spoken.
- Willingness to learn and take feedback, and ability to work with guidance.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and operating with full autonomy.
- Experience working in fast-moving startup environments or similar ownership-driven roles.

Interest or coursework in machine learning, data engineering, or edge computing.
