About The Role As a Software Engineer at Jasper, you'll be at the forefront of AI innovation, working directly with cutting-edge technologies that are reshaping how businesses approach content creation and marketing. This isn't your typical engineering role. You'll be building, experimenting with, and deploying AI systems that our users rely on to bring their boldest ideas to life.

Working in our fully remote environment, you'll collaborate with a passionate team that values both technical excellence and creative problem-solving.

This position reports to the Director of Engineering and is open to candidates located anywhere in the continental US.

What You Will Do At Jasper

• Design, develop, and deploy features that leverage the latest in AI and machine learning technologies, working on core areas of the Jasper platform (e.g., content generation, collaboration tools, data pipelines, or integrations)
• Solve complex technical challenges that push the boundaries of what AI can accomplish
• Write clean, maintainable code that solves intricate problems with elegant solutions

What You Will Bring To Jasper

• 3+ years of experience in frontend engineering, preferably in a VC-backed startup environment
• Strong proficiency in our tech stack: Typescript and React
• Proven track record of delivering software that creates real value for users
• Comfort navigating ambiguity through rapid prototyping and iterative development
• Experience scaling applications and addressing performance challenges
• Strong communication skills and experience working effectively with cross-functional partners
• A passion for continuous learning and improvement in fast-moving technology landscapes

Compensation Range At Jasper, we believe in pay transparency and are committed to providing our employees and candidates with access to information about our compensation practices. The expected base salary range offered for this role is $140,000 - $180,000. Compensation may vary based on relevant experience, skills, competencies, and certifications.
