The Opportunity

As one of our first team members, you'll have a significant impact on the company, culture, and product. You'll work collaboratively with our CTO and other team members to build out our web applications.

Responsibilities

• Brainstorm with Product Managers, Designers, and Backend Engineers to conceptualize and build new features for our growing user base.
• Produce high-quality results by contributing heavily to team projects that significantly impact the business.
• Assist the support and operations teams in triaging and resolving production issues.
• Improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in building web applications.
• Proficiency in modern Angular and RxJS.
• Excellent skills in Javascript/Typescript, with a solid understanding of semantic HTML and CSS.
• Strong understanding of core web and browser concepts.
• Experience with performance and optimization problems, with the ability to diagnose and prevent these issues.
• Ability to contribute to technical architecture discussions and drive technical decisions within the team.
• Experience in writing maintainable, understandable, and testable code, including automated tests.
• Strong communication skills to explain complex technical concepts to various stakeholders.
• Strong computer science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, programming languages, distributed systems, and information retrieval.
• Proficient in spoken and written English.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent training/experience.

Bonus Skills & Attributes

• Experience with NX mono repos.
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience working at a startup or building a SaaS platform.
