TETMET is a Deeptech company based in Amsterdam and Paris, making large scale advanced lattice structures available at industrial scale for Aerospace, Automotive, Defense and Energy industries.
Our technology enables customers such as Volvo, Stellantis, Space agencies like CNES and ESA, Airbus and Safran to manufacture structural parts in lattices, much like the structure of the Eiffel Tower but on the scale of individual components or full vehicle frames.
We use advanced robotics, machine vision, laser technology, controlled artificial intelligence.
On top of the manufacturing technology, the company also licenses CAD and Simulation tools for the design of these parts and Applications Engineering services.
TETMET's technology makes lattice structures available to the masses at great efficiency. It ourperforms the promise of Additive Manufacturing due to its inefficiencies, and it opens up new alternatives to composites. Additionally: manufacturers love the toolingless, low-CAPEX principles.
We just won the Grand Prix by the Automobile Club de France, emphasising how meaningful how work is for industry. Take a look at our story here: https://www.youtube.com/live/G_hJCXM7vII?t=4944s
Job Overview
Near Amsterdam, next to Schiphol Airport, our first factory is being planned. It's designed for large scale specialty structures in space launchers and aerospace & defense vehicles and energy customers, but will also serve to demonstrate toolingless manufacturing for automotive production of the future.
This factory will be planned and tested by a team of software engineers, mechatronicists and mechanical engineers, alongside systems integrators and with support of our lab in Paris.
As the Software Engineer dedicated to the first factory, you will be working on mechatronics, inverse kinematics, systems integration, machine vision, backend engineering and (web-based) interfaces.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Overseeing software & hardware quality and system architecture decisions on robotic control and accuracy.
Collaborating with engineers across disciplines (mechanical, software, robotics) to align system-wide efforts.
Contributing High Quality Maintainable code and supporting others in doing the same.
Keeping up to speed with developments in Software Engineering, Robotics and AI
Helping prioritize and break down complex problems into manageable deliverables.
We are looking for a highly motivated mechatronicist who is not afraid of highly dynamic challenge:
Must haves:
Nice to haves:
Our team consists of brilliant engineers and operators:
You will be accompanied by our team consisting of PhDs in Materials, structures and Robotics science, highly experienced mechanical engineers and repeat startup operators who work on-site with great dedication.
Together we are tackling an enormous deeptech challenge that will introduce a completely new engineering paradigm into the world of manufacturing.
