About The Team The Computer Vision Features Team at Protex champions the development and deployment of pioneering safety solutions. This team delivers Computer Vision based solutions from R&D to full production and integration with the core client web app and Protex Intelligence products. As part of the Engineering team, we are committed to state-of-the-art software development practices encompassing a diverse range of technologies.

You will be responsible for

• Working and building solutions within complex distributed systems.
• Working in close collaboration with Computer Vision Engineers and the User Applications team to integrate Computer Vision features and Computer Vision data into the core web application.
• Working closely with Product and Client Success to deliver features to full production.

We Are Looking For a Person Who Has

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• Proven track record of shipping high-quality products at scale.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• The desire to work in a fast-paced environment and continuously grow.
• Strong Python proficiency
• Has knowledge in cloud technologies like serverless, microservices architecture, PostgreSQL, database management, and container applications using Kubernetes or equivalent.
• Is experienced with JavaScript backend frameworks like Node.js, Express, NestJS, or similar, and understands effective approaches for building and nurturing RESTful and GraphQL APIs.

Nice-to-Haves

• Some C++ proficiency
• Data analysis and/or Data Warehousing experience (Snowflake)
