Who We’re Looking For We’re looking for product-minded engineers who enjoy building across the stack and owning problems end-to-end. We value depth and engineers who are comfortable stepping outside their comfort zone when the problem calls for it.
If you’re front-end leaning, you care about crafting intuitive, performant, and accessible user experiences, and you collaborate closely with product and design to bring ideas to life.
If you’re back-end leaning, you enjoy designing scalable systems, building clean APIs and data pipelines, and ensuring reliability in production. You’re comfortable working in Python and thinking through architecture and performance.

How Leveling Works We intentionally hire this role across multiple levels. During the interview process, we assess technical depth, ownership, system thinking, and impact. Final leveling and compensation are determined based on demonstrated ability and experience.
Compensation As an early-stage startup, we offer a competitive compensation package that includes base salary, meaningful equity, and benefits . Equity grants are designed to ensure employees share in the long-term success and upside of the company.
Base Salary: $185,000 – $260,000 annually
This range reflects compensation across multiple levels within this role. Actual compensation will be determined based on a candidate's qualifications, skills, experience, and geographic location.
