The position
You will join a group of engineers across Frontend, Backend, SRE, and QA. We are structured into cross-functional development teams, each aligned to a specific vertical.
This role is open across multiple teams. The exact team you join will be determined during the interview process based on business needs and your preferences.
Regardless of team placement, you will contribute to building tools, APIs, and integrations for one of our products.
Our backend stack uses Elixir and Phoenix with a Postgres database. The frontend is built with React and Next.js. We use GitLab for version control, issue tracking, and CI/CD. Our applications run on AWS. Deployments are fully CI-driven, with multiple releases per day.

Remote Compensation Philosophy
Remote’s Total Rewards philosophy focuses on fair, unbiased pay and equitable equity compensation, alongside competitive benefits in every location where we operate. We do not support or promote cheap-labor practices and instead pay above in-location market rates. Our goal is to encourage global hiring while supporting local economies.
Our salary bands may appear wide at first. This reflects our globally distributed workforce and international operations. We use geo-based ranges to account for geographic pay differences while remaining competitive across markets as we hire worldwide.
The base salary range for this full-time role is USD 41,500 to USD 93,350. Salary ranges are set based on role, level, and location, and job titles may cover more than one career level. Final base pay depends on factors such as location, relevant skills, experience, training, business needs, and market conditions. Salary ranges may change over time.
