Job Summary:

They are seeking a Software Engineer 4 to develop innovative UI features for their TV application, collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance user experiences and directly impact the business.

Responsibilities:

• Build state-of-the-art UI features on the leading TV app that pushes the boundaries of what’s possible on performance and memory constrained devices.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, algo, and other engineering partners to scope projects and build delightful user experiences.

• Validate our judgment by A/B testing product variants with real customers, instead of assuming we know what is best.

• Work on a code base that is TypeScript/JavaScript based, built with React Frameworks & Redux architecture fine-tuned for TV platforms, and tested with proprietary Jest-based automation frameworks.

• Own the quality of your features by writing testable code and crafting automation to validate functionality, in partnership with test engineers.

• Your work will have a direct and measurable impact on the business. Really.

Qualifications:

Required:

• 3+ years of experience working on consumer-facing products/apps.

• Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript, and can navigate different languages and technology stacks (eg. Node.js, GraphQL, etc).

• Curious about how members use our application and eager to build product features that entertain the world.
