As a Backend Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing the ideal backend system architecture, addressing customer pain points, and contributing to the overall success of our platform.

Responsibilities

• System Architecture: Develop an ideal backend system architecture to solve problems efficiently. Create strategic plans to achieve the long-term vision while delivering shorter-term solutions that provide immediate value to our customers.
• Customer Interaction: Engage with customers to understand their pain points. Collaborate on brainstorming sessions to devise innovative solutions that enhance the customer experience.
• Critical Thinking: Apply critical thinking to problem-solving, starting from the ground up. Challenge existing solutions and propose novel approaches free from bias.

Requirements

• 3+ years of relevant professional full-time experience building backend systems.
• Proactive self-starter capable of independently solving problems.
• Write clean and maintainable code using Python, Django, PostGreSQL / any relevant backend stack
• Troubleshoot and debug issues in the backend system
• Optimize the performance of the backend services (GCP, DBT)

• Some exposure to FrontEnd (React, basic familiarity with a JS library + willingness to learn).
