Moores Lab AI is revolutionizing the silicon chip industry with our AI Agentic tools. We are seeking a social media manager to help us reach key customers, elevate our brand presence, and oversee our social communications efforts. This person will develop and implement informed content strategies tailored to the strengths of various social media platforms to increase brand awareness and affinity. Candidates must be local to Austin, TX in order to document events with the team in Austin.
This is a part-time role at 10 - 20 hours a week, mostly remote but in Austin at least once a quarter.
Objectives of this role
- Increase engagement for existing audiences with high-quality social initiatives
- Acquire new followers by filling gaps in our marketing content output
- Align our brand with new and emerging trends
- Improve ROI through consistently on-target messaging
- Identify new channels to embed our brand that align our marketing direction
- Glean insights from social data using monitoring tools
Responsibilities
- Use social media and design tools to craft and release content (photos, videos, graphics, etc.) to our social channels
- Develop social media campaigns in collaboration with the marketing team
- Become an extension of the company’s brand to connect with existing customers, and acquire new ones
- Analyze the company’s social strategy to make frequent improvement suggestions
- Stay up to date with new and emerging trends to help keep our social media presence consistently relevant
- Establish key performance indicators to understand efficacy of existing social campaigns and adjust strategy for further optimizations
- Coordinate social content with blogs, emails, and newsletters for a cohesive brand presence
Skills and qualifications
- Extensive knowledge of a variety of current social media platforms
- Skills in copywriting, design, photography, and video editing
- Clear, thoughtful communication abilities
- Effective time-management skills
- Interest in tech sector, knowledge of key players in the AI start-up space
- Experience crafting content that includes: static designs, various short form video content, edited photos, and insightful copy that will engage our target audiences
Preferred qualifications
- At least 2 years leading a brand’s social media initiatives
- Keen understanding of how to craft effective social media strategies
- Strong familiarity with Canva, Figma, Adobe CS, HubSpot, and Microsoft 365
- Experience with social media tools, especially LinkedIn and X
- Comfortable with using generative AI in your workflow, especially for rapid prototyping of designs
