Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Operations Manager - GIS Survey, based in Delhi. In this role, you will oversee GIS operations and the development and implementation of Enterprise GIS solutions. Responsibilities include managing data, analyzing GIS data, coordinating GIS projects, and ensuring efficient utilization of Geographic Information Systems to meet client needs and organizational goals. You will also work closely with teams to streamline workflows and deliver high-quality results aligned with Aeroarc’s commitment to innovation and excellence.
Key Responsibilities for this profile :
i. Maintain constant communication with management, staff, and vendors to ensure proper operations of the organization.
ii. Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols
iii. Grow the efficiency of existing organizational processes and procedures to enhance and sustain the organization’s internal capacity
iv. Actively pursue strategic and operational objectives
v. Ensure operational activities remain on time and within a defined budget
vi. Track staffing requirements, hiring new employees as needed
vii. Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable departments
viii. Lead, motivate, and support a large team within a time-sensitive and demanding environment, including setup and implementation of career development plans for all direct reports and problem resolution
ix. Manage timely data collection to update operations metrics to achieve productivity targets, reduce cost per unit, eliminate errors, and deliver excellent customer service
x. Partner with cross-functional support teams in improving the proprietary tools and systems
xi. Work closely with legal and safety departments to make sure activities remain compliant
xii. Oversee materials and inventory management
xiii. Conduct budget reviews and report cost plans to upper management
Qualification :
Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Geoinformatics, Environmental Science, or related field; advanced degree is preferred
Skills Required
• Must have handled team of 30-50 Pilots
• Proficiency in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and a strong understanding of GIS Applications
• Experience with Enterprise GIS systems and managing related solutions
• Strong Analytical Skills for interpreting spatial data and generating insights
• Expertise in Data Management for large datasets used in GIS projects
• Proven ability to lead projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Experience in drone or robotics industries is a plus
