Job Summary
We are seeking a technically strong and customer-focused
EBU Engineer
to join our Jakarta team. The role involves delivering simulation projects in the electronics domain, providing technical consulting support, and assisting in pre-sales activities related to electronic and electromagnetic applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform simulation and analysis in:
Electromagnetic (EM) simulations
Signal Integrity (SI) / Power Integrity (PI)
PCB and high-frequency simulations
Electronics thermal management
- Develop and validate simulation models using ANSYS Electronics tools.
- Support customers in product development through simulation-driven design optimization.
- Provide technical troubleshooting and solution recommendations.
- Prepare detailed technical reports and present findings to clients.
- Assist sales team in pre-sales discussions, solution demonstrations, and technical proposals.
- Conduct customer training sessions and technical workshops.
- Ensure timely delivery of projects while maintaining quality standards.
Technical Requirements
Electromagnetics
High-frequency design
PCB design fundamentals
Thermal management in electronics
- Hands-on experience with:
ANSYS HFSS / SIwave / Maxwell / Icepak
(preferred)
Other EM tools (CST, ADS, etc.) – added advantage
EMI/EMC compliance
Power electronics simulation
RF design fundamentals
Ability to troubleshoot convergence and modelling challenges.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in:
Electrical Engineering
Electronics Engineering
Telecommunication Engineering
Or related Engineering discipline
Experience Required
- Minimum
2 years of experience in electronics simulation
- Experience in consulting, R&D, or engineering services preferred.
- Exposure to industries such as electronics manufacturing, automotive electronics, telecommunications, or semiconductor is an advantage.
