Job description:
- Performing FEA (FEM) analysis for equipment designed at KP Labs for the space industry.
- Co-designing mechanical parts to operate in the space environment (including a flight on a launcher).
- Selection of materials and manufacturing technologies.
- Working closely with the designer, technologist, heat flow engineer and system engineer.
- Planning and coordinating laboratory tests (including vibration tests).
- Development of scientific articles and technical documentation.
- Risk and reliability assessment of analyzed mechanical solutions.
What we expect:
- Completed university degree or doctoral degree – mechanical, technological or related department.
- Good knowledge of FEA (FEM) simulation software and the computational methods contained therein.
- Knowledge of English at a communicative level.
- Knowledge of the following topics is welcome: mechanical vibration, the strength of materials, fatigue of materials.
Nice to have:
- Work experience in a similar position and knowledge of space industry requirements (ECSS) would be an asset.
