JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced
Systems Engineer to bridge photonic hardware with electronic systems, ensuring seamless integration of optical interconnects into large-scale computing platforms. This role combines technical depth with cross-functional collaboration.
This role necessitates a hands-on approach in defining system level requirements which involves collaboration across different sites to ensure the delivery of high-performance analog products. The successful candidate will be responsible for taking products from the initial concept phase through production.
Responsibilities include
· Define system-level requirements for silicon photonics interconnects.
· Work with design, packaging, and reliability teams to ensure manufacturability and scalability.
· Develop test plans and validate optical links in prototype and production systems.
· Analyze performance trade-offs (bandwidth, latency, power efficiency).
·
Collaborate with customers and partners to align solutions with application needs.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
· BS/MS/PHD in Electrical Engineering.
· Experience in system architecture, optical/electrical co-design, or high-speed interconnects and high-speed lab testing.
· Knowledge of photonic packaging, signal integrity, and reliability testing.
· Familiarity with data center or HPC system requirements is a plus.
