Job Title: Technical SEO Specialist
Job Type: Remote (US shift)
Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Technical SEO Specialist to improve website performance, search visibility, and organic growth across multiple platforms. This role focuses on technical audits, site architecture, tracking implementation, and SEO best practices for modern CMS and eCommerce platforms.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct comprehensive technical SEO audits and prioritize fixes
• Identify and resolve issues related to:
Crawlability, indexation, site speed, and Core Web Vitals
Duplicate content, redirects, canonicalization, and internal linking
• Plan and execute URL migrations , site restructures, and domain changes with minimal traffic loss
• Implement and maintain structured data (schema markup) to improve SERP visibility
• Create, optimize, and launch new SEO-friendly pages (landing pages, collections, blog templates, etc.)
• Collaborate with developers, designers, and content teams to ensure SEO best practices are followed
• Monitor site health, rankings, and organic traffic performance
Platforms & CMS Experience (Required)
Analytics & Tracking
• Strong working knowledge of:
Google Analytics (GA4)
Google Tag Manager
Google Search Console
• Set up and validate conversion tracking , events, and goals
• Troubleshoot tracking issues and ensure accurate data collection
Technical Skills
• Understanding of:
HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript (for SEO diagnostics)
Server responses, status codes, and log files
• Experience with:
XML sitemaps and robots.txt
Canonicals, hreflang, pagination, and faceted navigation
