We are currently seeking an experienced Web Developer to join our team and help build and maintain our e-commerce platform. Job Description As an Experienced Web Developer at EMOTIV, you will play a critical role in developing and maintaining our e-commerce platform, enabling the sale of EMOTIV products, including hardware and software. You will work closely with various teams to support promotions, track transactions, generate metrics, and ensure shipment tracking. Additionally, you will collaborate with our cloud and security teams to safeguard customer data and maintain high security standards. #### Key Responsibilities * Develop and maintain the e-commerce platform using technologies such as PHP, Laravel, Node.js, Vue.js, MySQL/PostgreSQL, WooCommerce on WordPress, and Stripe (or other payment gateways and subscription services) * Utilize Laravel for backend development to create robust and scalable applications * Implement dynamic and interactive user interfaces using such as React, Rollup.js, Vue.js and TypeScript * Develop server-side logic and APIs using Node.js to support e-commerce functionalities * Collaborate with the marketing team to support SEO, promotions and implement customizations to boost conversion rates * Work with the finance team on building metrics reporting to monitor overall business performance * Ensure accurate shipment tracking in collaboration with the logistics team * Collaborate with developers on website deployment using CI/CD toolchains * Implement and maintain robust security measures to protect customer data in accordance with GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) and ISO27001 (Information Security Management System) standards by working with the Cloud and Security team * Utilize Google Analytics for website performance monitoring and reporting * Utilize Google Looker Studio for BI metrics #### Required Qualifications * Proven 4+ years experience in web development using PHP, Laravel, Node.js, Vue.js and MySQL/PostgreSQL. * Strong experience with Laravel for backend development * Proficiency in Vue.js for creating interactive user interfaces * Experience with Node.js for server-side development * Experience with e-commerce platforms such as WooCommerce, BigCommerce * Knowledge of payment gateways and subscription services, preferably Stripe * Familiarity with Google Analytics and Google Looker Studio for tracking and reporting * Familiarity with collaboration and development tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Github, Visual Studio Code, Linux commands * Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail * Excellent communication and writing skills in English #### Preferred Qualifications * Experience with AWS or other cloud platform providers with knowledge of deployment, scaling, and cost optimization in cloud environments * Experience in working with CI/CD toolchains, and dockerization * Familiarity with security best practices and data privacy regulations * Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment Please share your CV to Ms Huyen at huyennguyen@emotiv.com.
