Your Mission
At RobCo, we develop AI-powered robotic systems that make industrial processes more autonomous, efficient, and scalable. Our Autonomous Manufacturing Platform combines modular industrial hardware with physical AI, enabling rapid deployment and continuous optimisation in real-world production environments.
With offices in Munich, San Francisco and Austin, and the support of leading investors such as Lightspeed, Lingotto Innovation und Sequoia, we are working to redefine industrial automation.
As a (Senior) Technical Pre-Sales Engineer (m/f/d) at RobCo, youβll sit right at the intersection of customer needs and cutting-edge robotics technology. In our Pre-Sales Organization, you will transform customer challenges into tailored automation concepts β combining creativity, technical expertise, and a consultative approach.
What makes this role unique: This is not a classic sales engineering or system integrator position. At RobCo, you design real automation solutions that combine modular robotics hardware with AI-driven software (e.g., vision, motion, autonomous behaviors).
Working closely with Account Executives, you translate customer manufacturing challenges into feasible, deployable automation concepts: cell layouts, robot and peripheral selection, feasibility checks, and proof-of-value solutions that clearly demonstrate technical and business impact.
As part of a robotics manufacturer, you work directly with the product and engineering teams behind the robot β without the constraints of off-the-shelf systems. You have real ownership and creative freedom to design solutions that showcase software-defined, modular robotics.
This role can be based at our Austin, TX HQ or fully remote within the United States.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Gather insights β Capture customer feedback and feed it directly into product development for continuous improvement.
Your Profile
Weβre looking for curious, solution-oriented professionals who thrive on variety and customer interaction. Ideally, you bring:
If you meet most of the requirements but not all β apply anyway. We value potential, creativity, and drive as much as exact matches.
