Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Technical Operations Analyst to join our dynamic Ops team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of our core production systems. You will act as a key escalation point for complex technical issues, drive incident resolution, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our operational processes and monitoring capabilities. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with a deep understanding of IT infrastructure, application support, and automation.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide advanced technical support for critical applications and infrastructure, diagnosing and resolving complex incidents to minimize business impact.
- Develop and maintain monitoring, alerting, and reporting solutions to ensure system health and performance, proactively identifying potential issues.
- Lead post-incident reviews, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and implement preventative measures to enhance system reliability and resilience.
- Automate manual operational tasks and processes using scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) to improve efficiency and reduce human error.
- Collaborate with Engineering, DevOps, and Product teams to support new feature releases and ensure operational readiness.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in a Technical Operations, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or advanced Application Support role.
- Strong proficiency in scripting with languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash for automation and tooling.
- In-depth knowledge of monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Datadog, Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana).
- Proven experience supporting applications and services within a major cloud environment (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage major incidents.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, ITIL).
