Location: Budapest, XI. (On-site Monday to Thursday, Remote on Fridays) Why we're hiring for this role: As we continue to grow and evolve, we're seeking an Senior Software Engineering Manager with at least 7 years of experience in Software Engineering and 3 years in Leadership to to lead and mentor our dynamic team of developers. We are looking to expand our team with someone who can bring fresh perspectives, advanced technical skills, and a passion for innovation. You will play a crucial role in driving forward our projects, enhancing our product offerings, and meeting the increasingly complex needs of our customers, utilizing cutting-edge technologies and agile methodologies.

Key challenges you will work on every day:

• Lead complex technical and strategic initiatives to drive optimized delivery
• Mentor and coach team members, supporting their professional development, setting goals, and providing constructive feedback
• Engage in designing, coding, reviewing, and testing features in alignment with agile practices.
• Influence the architectural direction of products, including the design and delivery of prototypes
• Solving complex problems and transforming them into business solutions
• Leveraging your expertise in the current technology stack, which includes Python, MySQL, React, AWS, K8S, Terraform and many more.

Requirements:

• Over 7 years of software engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role within an agile environment.
• Tech lead role, still hands-on, able to guide the team regarding technical questions
• Proactively find problems of existing system/product and offer solutions
• Strong English and Hungarian communication skills
• Familiarity with our technology stack: Python, K8S, React, TS, MySQL, AWS
• Experience working in B2B SaaS and agile development environments, preferably in a startup or dynamic tech company
