About the Team

The CPU/Storage team is expanding Hivenet Compute beyond GPUs into CPU-based workloads, containerized applications, VMs, and distributed block storage. We're building the infrastructure for vCPU resources, HPC storage, and the backbone of Hivenet's multi-cloud platform.

What You'll Do

• Design and implement container orchestration for CPU-based workloads
• Build VM provisioning systems using KubeVirt and Kubernetes
• Develop distributed storage services for HPC and enterprise use cases
• Create APIs and control plane services for vCPU resource management
• Contribute to infrastructure automation with FluxCD and GitOps practices

What You Bring

• 4+ years of backend engineering experience in infrastructure or platform teams
• Strong Kubernetes experience and understanding of container orchestration
• Proficiency in Golang
• Experience with distributed systems, storage, or virtualization technologies
• Proficiency with AI-assisted development tools and agentic coding workflows
• Demonstrated ability to use AI coding assistants effectively—rapidly prototyping, debugging, and refactoring while maintaining strong engineering judgment and production standards

Bonus Points

• Experience with KubeVirt, KVM, QEMU, or VM orchestration
• Background in distributed storage systems (Ceph, MinIO, or similar)
• Familiarity with K3s or lightweight Kubernetes distributions
