Your Role

• Play a pivotal role in taking the Shield Perception "code to road".
• Collaborate with Oxa's ML Perception Model Factory team for development, integration, deployment, and validation of components.
• Provide feedback from deployments to aid the validation lifecycle and contribute to Oxa's Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Conduct root cause analysis from Shield Perception deployments and support the team in developing solutions.
• Develop and contribute to Safety Performance Indicators for monitoring shield components.
• Work alongside other engineers to address novel engineering problems.
• Learn cloud technologies for accelerated development at scale.

Requirements

What you need to succeed:

• Proficient in C++.
• Experience with classical robotics approaches across multimodal perception (lidar, radar, camera).
• Knowledge of 3D/4D perception.
• Familiarity with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Git.

Extra Kudos if you have:

• Hands-on experience in mobile or field robotics.
• Experience in computer vision or image processing.
• Familiarity with Object Tracking and Prediction.
• Experience with Protocol Buffers and messaging systems (e.g., ROS).
• Knowledge of containerization (e.g., Docker) and CI/CD.
• Experience with CUDA, Triton, and coding in Python.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Experience with observability platforms such as Grafana.
