Job Summary
Join our customer's team as a Senior Software Engineer ( React + FastAPI ) and play an instrumental role in designing and developing robust web applications from end to end. You will collaborate closely with talented teammates, leveraging modern frameworks and best practices to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions in a dynamic environment. This position is ideal for engineers who are passionate about creating seamless user experiences and value clear, thoughtful communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications using React and FastAPI.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs with strong attention to data validation and security best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional team members to define, design, and deliver new features and enhancements.
- Write comprehensive tests and conduct rigorous API testing to ensure reliability and performance.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize both frontend and backend components.
- Contribute to technical documentation and share knowledge with the team to promote best practices.
- Participate actively in code reviews, agile ceremonies, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience with React for front-end development.
- Hands-on expertise with FastAPI and Python in backend development.
- Strong proficiency in designing and testing RESTful APIs, including thorough data validation.
- Comfort working in an agile, collaborative remote environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on clarity and detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver quality work on schedule.
- Solid understanding of modern software development practices and version control systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with automated API testing frameworks and tools.
- Experience with cloud-based deployment and infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Background in mentoring or supporting other engineers within a team setting.
