What you’ll do

• Report directly to the founding team to help Openlayer expand its core product
• Work closely with design to ship first-class, web-native UI experiences
• Implement complex UI/UX with React, design and build creative animations and interactions in code, and improve codebase health by instituting latest best practices
• Define a technical roadmap for product that turns customer problems into solutions
• Help grow the team and elevate design within the company

What we’re looking for

• 4+ years of experience in frontend engineering, with a deep understanding of React. Bonus for experience in Vite and/or Next.js
• Passion for AI systems and developer experience
• Ability to drive projects from idea to completion with no hand-holding
