Your tasks
You will contribute to the development of software components for mobile robots operating in dynamic warehouse and industrial environments.
Your work will span the integration of robotics modules, the creation of new applications, and the improvement of existing capabilities across different robots’ autonomy stacks.
You will test and evaluate your developments in our in-house test warehouse and at selected customer sites, working closely with a team of robotics experts.
Depending on your background, your contributions may include robot navigation, perception pipelines, object detection, or machine learning–driven behaviors.
Requirements
You have a Master’s degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
You have already gained 3+ years of experience developing software for robotic systems.
You impress with your strong programming skills in C++ and Python.
You bring a solid understanding of robotics fundamentals, ideally including perception, navigation, or manipulation.
You have a structured, independent, and solution-oriented working style.
You are fluent in English; German skills are a plus.
You have integrated your solution on a robot with a safety system.
We’ll give you extra points if:
Experience with ROS (Robot Operating System).
Experience contributing to shipped robotic products is an advantage.
The job is mostly done on-site, so ideally you live in/close to Munich.
