Job Title: Senior Software Engineer (Golang)

Overview

• We are willing to train you on Go if you have experience in a different tech stack. Our 10-week internal onboarding program focuses on Go and scalability.
• Roles are open from entry-level to director/principal Go engineers.
• Remote work is available for applicants based in the EU or those relocating to Amsterdam (relocation and visa sponsorship available).
• Hybrid policy: Applicants based in the Netherlands or relocating are expected to work in the office in Amsterdam 3 times per week; exemptions may apply.

Responsibilities

• Build functional features that are scalable and used by many users.
• Develop and maintain public APIs and SDKs.

Must Haves

• At least 4 years of backend engineering experience.
• Proficiency with Go or another backend language (willingness to switch to Go).
• Experience with relational databases (Postgres preferred).
• Experience with database/Redis.

Bonus Points

• Experience with AWS or other cloud providers.
• Knowledge of Python and Rust.
• Familiarity with message queues and full-text search.
• WebRTC experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
