We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Software Engineer (Front-end) with 4-5 years of experience to join our fast-paced and growing team. The ideal candidate should have expertise in Front-end services development using JS, NodeJS & ReactJS with a passion for solving complex technical challenges. What you'll do: - Designing, implementing, and maintaining Microservices using TypeScript, React, Material UI and NodeJS or Python. - Designing and developing cloud based software products conforming to industry best practices. - Build systems, services, and tools to handle new Ocrolus products and business requirements that securely scale over millions of transactions. - Build and scale our fast-growing online services and data pipelines. - Collaborate with other teams on security, reliability, and automation. - Supporting the testing process, troubleshooting issues and resolving them. Who we're looking for: (Skill Sets and Qualifications) - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. - 4+ years engineering experience. - Expert in Front-end development using various technologies - Solid knowledge and experience of working with ReactJS, Javascript, NodeJS, Material UI, Typescript - Experience of database skills (Postgres, MySQL etc) would be great to have - Experience and knowledge of Python will be greatly appreciated - Experience with Frameworks like the React JS based Ecosystem - Strong problem-solving and communication skills. - Can contribute best-practices and architectural leadership to our frontend and backend applications and help pick the architecture, frameworks and tooling for our next generation platform. - Experience leading and owning projects from beginning to end. - Familiarity with containerisation, microservices architecture, continuous integration, Amazon Web Services and deployment.
