About The Team The CI Infrastructure Engineering team builds and operates the systems that enable continuous testing of the open-source ClickHouse database and ensure its seamless integration into the ClickHouse Cloud offering. Our work is critical to maintaining the quality, performance, and reliability of both our OSS and cloud products. We’re looking for highly skilled and experienced software engineers to join us. In this role, you’ll design, develop, and maintain CI infrastructure as a cohesive system—making it more scalable, efficient, reliable, and developer-friendly.

You’ll help shape the foundation that supports rapid innovation across the ClickHouse ecosystem, while ensuring stability and confidence in every change contributed by thousands of developers worldwide.

What Will You Do?

Architect and build robust, scalable infrastructure on top of public cloud services to support continuous delivery of the open-source ClickHouse database and the ClickHouse Cloud offering.
Develop platforms and tooling for continuous quality assurance, artifact delivery, and large-scale automated testing.
Streamline CI/CD workflows and enhance the developer experience through improved automation and visibility.
Collaborate closely with the ClickHouse core database and security teams to tightly integrate CI processes into the overall development lifecycle.
Monitor, debug, and optimize the CI infrastructure for performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency.

About You

Compensation For roles based in the United States , the typical starting salary range for this position is listed above. In certain locations, such as Los Angeles, CA, the San Francisco Bay Area, CA, and the New York City Metro Area, a premium market range may apply, as listed.

Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

5+ years of relevant software development industry experience building and operating scalable, fault-tolerant systems.

Strong software development experience in Python for automation, tooling, and orchestration.
