We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer with 5+ years of experience who excels in developing highly concurrent and distributed systems using Go. In this role, you’ll build, scale, and optimize robust backend services and distributed system architectures. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in Go, excels in complex problem-solving, and enjoys collaborating in a dynamic startup environment. - Architect, implement, and maintain scalable, highly concurrent backend services using Go. - Develop distributed systems capable of handling high throughput and reliability. - Collaborate with frontend engineers, platform teams, and embedded developers to integrate services across applications and devices. - Optimize backend performance and troubleshoot concurrency and scalability issues. - Ensure rigorous security practices and standards in backend development. - Write high-quality code, conduct thorough reviews, and maintain excellent documentation. - 5+ years of software engineering experience, focusing on backend development. - Deep knowledge and expertise in Go. - Significant experience designing and building highly concurrent, distributed systems. - Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration. - Strong API design and development skills. - Solid understanding of system architecture, data structures, algorithms, and performance optimization. - Proven ability to independently drive backend projects from concept to completion. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Experience in IoT, robotics, or related fields. - Strong networking knowledge and experience troubleshooting network-related issues. - Familiarity with AWS or other cloud platforms. - Background working with hardware integrations or embedded systems. - This position is remote and must sit in the United States - The target salary range for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 - 100% Employer paid Health, Dental and Vision Insurance for you and your families - Ability to participate in the companies 401k program - Unlimited PTO policy with an enforced 2 week minimum - 16 Week 100% Paid Parental Leave - Generous Equity Package - Generous work / home office Stipend - Global Entry Re-Imbursement - Innovation: We are driven to break new ground.
