The Role
Reporting to the Software Development Manager, the Senior Software Developer will play a key role in delivering high‑quality features and enhancements across the Talis Aspire product and wider Kortext product suite. They will be supporting the delivery of new features, progressing core themes of work, and improving existing product functionality. Working closely with the Product team, they will develop clean, accessible and reusable code across both frontend and backend technologies, ensuring solutions are built in line with technical best practice and product standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to sprint activities including planning, estimation, and retrospectives
- Work with the Software Development Manager to understand requirements and break them into technical tasks
- Support the architectural design of new features that integrate with existing services
Skills & Requirements
- Strong full‑stack development experience with JavaScript, ReactJS, Angular, NodeJS, PHP, and REST APIs
- Good understanding of SQL/NoSQL databases and caching technologies such as Redis and Memcache
- Experience with C# and .NET in order to support on these projects in the future
- Knowledge of serverless architectures and cloud‑based development
- Experience working with microservices and integrating third‑party APIs
