The Role: We’re looking for a passionate and curious, Senior Scientist I to join our team. What You’ll Do: * Characterization of biotherapeutics using mass spectrometry (intact mass and peptide mapping workflows) * Method development for mass spectrometry-based experiments * Work with team members on technology development to reduce the cost and improve efficiency, speed, and capacity of analytical testing and analytical methods Who You Are: * PhD with 4+ years relevant industry experience, MS with 6+ years industry experience, or BS with 10+ years’ experience * Hands-on experience with Orbitrap or TOF technology * Experience with liquid chromatography, including instrument maintenance, and method development * Large molecule and protein characterization experience * Familiarity with mass spectrometry method development * Desire to work in a fast, collaborative, and team-oriented environment Additional Preferred Qualifications: * Experience with troubleshooting complex instrumentation * Experience with other analytical methods including H/UPLC (SEC, RP, HILIC, IEX), CE (CE-SDS, icIEF) * Strength in data science and informatics * Hands on experience with Protein Metrics, BioPharma Finder, Skyline and other mass spectrometry analysis platforms. The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be $126,500-$140,000; Base salary offered may vary depending on individual’s skills, experience and competitive market value.
