Role Overview:
The SAP EAM Training Specialist is responsible for designing and delivering end-user training programs for
SAP Enterprise Asset Management (EAM)
within the
SAP S/4HANA environment
after system design and configuration have been completed. The role ensures business users are fully equipped to operate in the new system through structured learning, hands-on exercises, and post-training support.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Training Strategy & Planning
- Develop a comprehensive training plan aligned with finalized business processes in SAP EAM.
- Identify target user groups (maintenance planners, technicians, asset managers, etc.).
- Define training delivery methods with a primary focus on
instructor-led classroom training
.
2. Content Development
- Create role-based training materials including:
- User manuals
- Process guides
- Simulation exercises
- Quick reference cards
- Align training content with configured system transactions such as:
- Work order management
- Preventive maintenance
- Asset tracking and notifications
3. Training Delivery (Onsite Classroom)
- Deliver
in-person classroom training sessions
at the client location.
- Conduct structured instructor-led sessions with hands-on system exercises.
- Facilitate real-life business scenarios using the configured SAP S/4HANA EAM system.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of SAP EAM processes in
SAP S/4HANA
- Familiarity with:
- Plant maintenance processes
- Asset lifecycle management
- Work order cycles
- Experience with SAP training tools (Enable Now, simulations, etc.)
Training & Communication Skills
- Proven experience delivering
instructor-led classroom training
in corporate environments
- Strong presentation and facilitation skills
- Ability to simplify complex SAP concepts for business users
- Experience
- 10+ years in SAP EAM / Plant Maintenance (PM)
- Prior experience in SAP S/4HANA implementation projects
- Experience in post-design or post-build training delivery phases
