Our Salesforce Practice partners closely with business and IT teams to deliver secure, high-performing, and user-centric Salesforce environments using Agile delivery models.

Position Overview We are seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer to assess, enhance, and continuously support an enterprise Salesforce environment. This role focuses on platform optimization, release readiness, Agile-based enhancements, and ongoing user and admin support.

The Senior Salesforce Developer will work in a Kanban / Agile delivery model , supporting both Salesforce and HubSpot environments, ensuring platform stability, scalability, and alignment with best practices while delivering incremental improvements through sprint-based execution.

Key Responsibilities Ongoing Platform Support & Administration

• Provide day-to-day Salesforce admin and developer support, including user troubleshooting, role/profile management, and data integrity monitoring.
• Support end users through training, issue resolution, and platform guidance.
• Proactively maintain platform health, scalability, and usability.
• Evaluate downstream impact to dashboards, automations, integrations, and reporting prior to production releases.

Platform Optimization & Release Management

• Analyze and resolve issues identified by Salesforce Optimizer, security assessments, and platform health checks.
• Review Salesforce seasonal releases in sandbox environments and assess impact to business processes.
• Prepare remediation plans and support safe migration of updates to production.
• Ensure alignment with security, performance, and usability standards.

Agile Delivery & Enhancements

• Deliver prioritized enhancements through sprint-based execution (2-week cycles preferred).
• Participate in backlog grooming, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and demos.
• Combine related user stories into epics when appropriate.
• Achieve and maintain delivery velocity targets within the first 60 days.

Gap Analysis & Configuration Review

• Conduct comprehensive reviews of the production Salesforce environment, including:

• Sales Cloud and Service Cloud

• Custom objects, automations, workflows, and integrations

• Identify misconfigurations, underutilized features, and deviations from best practices.

• Provide recommendations for permission sets, user access models, and workflow improvements.

• Deliver a configuration and optimization roadmap prior to contract completion.

Reporting & Collaboration

• Track sprint progress, velocity, and burn rates.
• Collaborate with project leadership to ensure hours and delivery remain aligned with expectations.
• Participate in periodic contract and performance reviews.

Required Skills & Experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Salesforce Platform Developer I or II certification.
• Experience with complex orgs, multiple integrations, and custom automation.
• Experience producing Agile delivery metrics (velocity, burn rates, sprint reporting).
• Exposure to CI/CD or DevOps practices within Salesforce environments.

• Ability to balance support work with enhancement delivery.
• Clear communication skills with both technical and business stakeholders.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and accountable approach to platform ownership.
