NewPower Worldwide is the fastest-growing global independent distributor of electronic components, committed to delivering high-quality solutions to customers worldwide. We are seeking a results-driven Senior Sales Account Manager to drive business growth in the Japan market while supporting opportunities across the APAC region. This role will focus on developing new business, managing key client relationships, and executing sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Account Management
- Identify and develop new business opportunities, with a primary focus on the Japanese market
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients to maximize growth
- Expand existing accounts through strategic engagement and value-driven solutions
Sales Strategy & Execution
- Proactively engage clients to understand needs and generate new opportunities
- Execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed individual and team revenue targets
End-to-End Sales Management
- Manage the full sales cycle, including RFQs, quotations, order processing, and fulfillment
- Ensure timely and accurate execution of all sales activities
CRM & Reporting
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of pipeline, customer interactions, and sales activities in CRM systems
- Track and report weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance metrics
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of products and services
Market Insights
- Stay informed on industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape
- Identify new opportunities to drive business growth
Additional Responsibilities
- Support ad-hoc tasks and initiatives related to business and office operations as required
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably within the electronic components or distribution industry
- Proven track record in business development and account management
- Experience managing clients in the Japanese market
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Independent, proactive, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Willingness to travel as required
