What is your Day to Day Mission:

• Lead the development of object detection, tracking, and pose estimation techniques to enable precise drone interaction and control using a variety of sensing methods.
• Design and implement the integration of multi-sensor setups to enable autonomous drone port functionality, ensuring seamless interaction between hardware, software, and control systems.
• Develop software solutions that process and interpret data from sensors such as cameras, LiDAR, GPS and other relevant technologies.
• Implement advanced robotics control strategies for drone landing, movement and take-off.
• Ensure robust software platform development, integrating with in-house user interface platforms.
• Conduct rigorous testing and validation of software to ensure reliability before market release.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including hardware specialists, robotics engineers, and aeronautical engineers.
• Interface with teams working on drone platforms and mission control software to ensure seamless integration.

What you bring to the team:

• You have a post-graduate degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• You have at least 10 years of professional experience in computer vision, AI-driven object detection, and robotics with expertise in sensor fusion and real-time control systems.
• You have a strong background in software development, including C++, Python, and embedded systems.
• You are familiar with established software development methodologies, including SAFe and relevant platforms.
• You are proficient in AI concepts and machine learning techniques, with a strong focus on applying machine learning algorithms and different sensing modalities for robot control tasks.
• Your open, communicative, and collaborative nature makes you a trusted internal expert.
• You are able to lead multi-disciplinary teams, guide and mentor less experienced colleagues.
• You are highly self-motivated and take ownership of your responsibilities.
• Communication in English is second nature to you.
