We are now seeking a Senior Research Scientist: AI for Climate & Weather Simulation! NVIDIA Research’s AI Climate and Weather Simulation Team is looking for a senior research scientist. Our mission is to re-imagine technology across the Earth System Modeling stack using new ideas in AI on applied topics such as state estimation, convection-permitting AI atmosphere or ocean simulation, steerable climate state sampling for advanced informatics, multi-component autoregressive Earth System prediction, reasoning over multi-modal climate data - and related frontier topics.

Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is 184,000 USD - 299,000 USD for Level 4, and 224,000 USD - 356,500 USD for Level 5.
