Company Description
Cogniprise develops AI-based intelligent systems aimed at enhancing safety, efficiency, and profitability within manufacturing operations. Cogniprise specializes in AI solutions for Energy and Process Industries such as Oil & Gas, Refineries, Chemicals, LNG, Midstream, Utilities and Mining.
Its AI Agentic solutions are geared to gradually lead to Autonomous Operations (AO) at industrial plants without requiring rip-and-replace of existing IT or OT systems. The company uses cutting edge technology and partners with industry leaders like Microsoft, IBM, Nvidia, and Aveva. With a focus on innovation, Cogniprise offers customized implementations for optimized results.
Project Description
Cogniprise develops AI Agents for various functions performed by operators, technicians and engineers in plants and industrial facilities. We are building an AI Agent application that will monitor asset health, predict asset failure, develop PM (preventive maintenance) recommendations, and then integrate with a CMMS (computerized maintenance management system) to schedule and execute work orders. We are using centrifugal pumps as the starting example.
Join us to shape the future of autonomous reliability.
Role Description
This is a part-time contract consulting role for a Senior Reliability Engineer for a very interesting project - to advise on an AI Agent being developed by Cogniprise.
The candidate will help our AI Agent app to reflect real-world workflows, data, and usability. Specifically, they will:
· Assess and advise on the AI Agent app for it to be realistic, useful and efficient in helping a reliability engineer perform their responsibilities.
· Validate our app’s logic, data inputs, and asset health and failure prediction workflows.
· Validate the correctness of failure modes, causes, and relevant measurements to monitor and predict specific failures for assets
· Review the correctness and efficacy of Preventive Maintenance plans
· Ensure interface requirements to the CMMS are effective for work order execution.
· Guide UI/UX design to display critical asset variables clearly and intuitively, for effectiveness and ease of use in carrying out their task;
· Ensure our AI agent aligns with industry standards and field practices.
· Collaborate with AI developers to refine AI agent recommendations and explainability.
· Shape how reliability engineers interact with the app—from control rooms to field inspections.
· Consult as needed on failure analysis, root cause analysis, RCM activities and strategies to guide the AI app to enhance asset life and minimize downtime.
