JOB SUMMARY

We're looking for a Senior QA Engineer who combines technical expertise with a proactive, collaborative mindset. You'll be a key contributor to how we deliver quality, leading by example and communicating effectively across disciplines to raise the bar for engineering standards.

You'll join our dynamic and growing Product Engineering team at Storyblok, playing an instrumental role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our flagship CMS platform. This platform empowers businesses to create and deliver seamless digital content experiences.

In this role, you'll work closely with product owners, designers, and developers to design and maintain clean, scalable automated tests, develop thorough test plans, perform rigorous testing, and continuously refine QA strategies to maintain best-in-class software quality. Your work will directly contribute to delivering an exceptional user experience by ensuring flawless performance across every facet of our application.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
7+ years of relevant experience as a QA Engineer.
3+ years of proven experience in test automation across frontend and backend using Playwright.
Strong proficiency in TypeScript with experience building scalable, maintainable automation frameworks.
Comprehensive knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions).
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and align across technical and product teams.

NICE TO HAVE

Experience writing and maintaining Ruby on Rails code.
Experience with observability and error tracking tools (e.g., Grafana, Kibana, Sentry) and identifying errors, trends, and issues.
Experience with accessibility testing and best practices.
