Job Title: Senior Product Engineer - Workforce Management

Overview
We are looking for a versatile and resourceful Senior Product Engineer to join our Workforce Management product team. Nory's Workforce Management (WFM) product is central to our mission of creating better working environments in hospitality. Our platform helps restaurant and bar operators optimize staff scheduling, forecast labor demands, reduce costs, and improve employee satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Engineer the WFM product by applying your deep understanding of technology and the domain.
- Collaborate closely with designers, customer success, and other engineers to enhance the product.
- Create sophisticated labor forecasting tools using ML/AI to predict staffing needs.
- Evolve our data model to support complex scheduling patterns and compliance requirements.
- Work with the Data team on scheduling AI that balances business needs, employee preferences, and labor laws.
- Integrate with payroll and HR systems to create a seamless experience across the employee lifecycle.

Qualifications
- At least 6 years of experience in a similar engineering role, preferably at a SaaS start-up/scale-up.
- Familiarity with parts of our tech stack is helpful; quick learning and adaptability are valued.
- Experience building scheduling systems or working with labor compliance is valuable but not essential.
- Prior work in hospitality tech or with hourly workforce management solutions is a plus.
