Role Summary
We are hiring a senior Pre-Sales / Solutions Consultant in the UK to lead technical solutioning and deal strategy for an enterprise agentic AI platform. You will partner with sales, product, and engineering to run discovery, craft executive-ready narratives, deliver compelling demos and POVs, and drive technical close.
This is a platform-first pre-sales role focused on agent lifecycle orchestration, evaluation, governance, and enterprise integration.
What You’ll Do
Agentic discovery and value mapping
- Lead customer discovery workshops to identify high-impact workflows for agentic automation and decision support
- Translate business objectives into an agent adoption roadmap from pilot to production to scale, with clear success metrics and ROI logic
- Shape use-case narratives across process automation, document intelligence, intelligent search and knowledge retrieval, risk and compliance automation, and customer experience transformation
Own the technical win strategy
- Drive end-to-end technical pre-sales execution including solution options, trade-offs, scope, effort sizing, risks, and dependencies
- Define POV and POC plans with clear acceptance criteria covering data requirements, integration points, governance controls, evaluation metrics, and timeline
- Build and deliver crisp demo flows that show day-in-the-life agent experiences, human-in-the-loop patterns, and operational readiness
Orchestration, evaluation, and governance
- Design and articulate production-grade agent patterns including agent onboarding, configuration, and versioning
- Define multi-agent workflows, tool calling, and approval workflows
- Establish validation and evaluation approaches for quality, safety, reliability, and relevance
- Support monitoring and operational controls for observability, drift, usage, and cost
- Communicate governance guardrails such as access control, auditability, and policy enforcement
Enterprise architecture and integration
- Create reference architectures integrating agentic workflows with enterprise apps, APIs, workflow systems, and data platforms
- Align with identity and access, security controls, logging and monitoring, and deployment pipelines
- Support cloud-aligned solutioning on Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, and Amazon Web Services
Proposal support and product feedback loop
- Produce high-quality artifacts including architecture diagrams, POV plans, technical proposal and SOW inputs, and RFP/RFI responses
- Create reusable pre-sales assets like solution playbooks, demo scripts, objection handling, and ROI models
- Provide structured feedback to product leadership based on field signals including feature gaps, competitive insights, and friction points
What Success Looks Like in the First 90 Days
- Independently run discovery-to-POV for multiple UK pursuits
- Improve win rate and reduce cycle time through strong narratives, sharp demos, and clean technical close
- Establish reusable agentic platform sales assets that scale across accounts
Required Experience
- 7 to 12+ years in pre-sales, solutions consulting, or solutions engineering selling enterprise platforms
- Strong systems thinking across architecture, APIs, integration, security, and operationalization
- Confident communicator able to influence both executives and hands-on engineering teams
- Proven ability to structure POVs with measurable success criteria and delivery realism
Strong Plus
- Familiarity with GenAI and LLMs, retrieval patterns, agent frameworks, and evaluation and guardrails
- Experience selling into regulated or high-risk environments with auditability and governance-by-design
- Vertical exposure in BFSI, healthcare and life sciences, manufacturing, media, or telecom
Location and Travel
- Based in the United Kingdom with client travel as needed
