About the role:
We are seeking a senior, highly driven People Operations Specialist to fully own our HR & Operations function across Vietnam and the US. This role is critical to ensuring seamless, compliant, and efficient people operations while supporting a fast-growing, US-based AI startup environment.
The ideal candidate thrives in startup pace, takes full responsibility end to end, and is comfortable balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
Key responsibilities:
1.End-to-End HR Operations Ownership (VN & US)
Fully own HR Operations across the entire employee lifecycle for Vietnam and the US
Execute and continuously improve onboarding, offboarding, employee data management, benefits administration, and HR documentation
Act as the single point of accountability
for HR operational accuracy, timeliness, and compliance
Coordinate and oversee US payroll execution
via Gusto and external vendors
Own payroll processing for contractors
Support compensation and benefits administration to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery
2.HR Systems & Data Management
Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME)
for HR systems, including Gusto (US payroll)
and other HR platforms (e.g., Fidelity, performance systems)
Manage mass HR data changes, audits, and reporting requests with high accuracy
Maintain and continuously improve HR system documentation, SOPs, and user guides
3.Employee Support & Service Delivery
Serve as the primary contact and escalation point
for HR-related questions from employees and managers in both Vietnam and the US
Handle sensitive employee matters with discretion, fairness, and empathy
4. Talent & External Coordination
Qualifications:
Required:
6+ years of experience
in HR Operations, People Operations, or HR Generalist roles
Proven experience owning HR operations end to end, ideally across multiple countries
Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision
Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and execution skills
Strong English communication skills
