Job Overview:
The Senior Payroll Specialist is responsible for managing the complete payroll process through SAP, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with Saudi Labor Law. This role oversees payroll transactions, audits, reconciliations, and reporting, while also supporting employees with payroll-related inquiries. The specialist plays a key role in maintaining system integrity, identifying process improvements, and collaborating closely with Finance, IT, and external auditors. Additionally, the position leads SAP Payroll implementation initiatives, ensuring seamless integration and operational efficiency across all payroll functions.
Area of Responsibility
Manage end-to-end payroll processing using SAP, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and timely distribution.
Handle all payroll transactions, including timekeeping, wage computation, deductions, Bonuses, and other adjustments.
Review and audit payroll calculations to ensure compliance with company policies and Saudi Labor Law.
Maintain SAP payroll system data, including employee records, tax information, and benefits.
Resolve issues within SAP payroll modules, coordinating with IT and SAP support when necessary.
Generate payroll reports and data extracts from SAP for internal and regulatory reporting.
Prepare documentation and reports for audits and collaborate with internal auditors and external agencies as needed.
Address payroll-related inquiries from employees promptly, providing clear explanations and resolutions.
Support employee understanding of payroll deductions.
Identify and implement process improvements within payroll workflows using SAP functionality.
Coordinate with finance on payroll journal entries, monthly accruals, and reconciliations.
Lead the end-to-end implementation of SAP Payroll, coordinating with internal stakeholders and external consultants.
Educational Qualification
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
Work Experience
Proven 4-5 years of experience in Payroll Management.
Skills:
* Strong knowledge of payroll systems, labor laws, and tax regulations.
* Proficient in SAP SuccessFactors, with the ability to manage HR data, processes, and analytics.
* Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
* Problem-solving and analytical skills to handle payroll discrepancies challenges.
* Excellent communication skills to handle employee inquiries and cross-department collaboration.
