As a Senior Network Engineer and key member of the Network Engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Machinify’s network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, robust security, and scalability vital for organization’s future growth. This role is crucial in maintaining network uptime, supporting business continuity and enabling secure, high-speed connectivity across the enterprise. - Design and implement network solutions, including LANs, WANs, and wireless networks, to support enterprise infrastructure and meet business requirements. - Installing, configuring, and maintaining network hardware, software, and communication links, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime. - Manage and configure network hardware such as routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless systems from multiple vendors, including Arista, Cisco, FortiGate, PaloAlto. - Manage and configure on-premises, cloud and hybrid-cloud networks, including Azure and AWS. - Analyzing and resolving complex network hardware and software problems, escalating issues as needed, and providing solutions to maintain network stability. - Implementing and maintaining network security measures, including firewalls, access controls, and intrusion detection systems, to protect the network from threats. - Monitoring network performance, identifying bottlenecks, and optimizing network resources to ensure optimal performance and capacity utilization. - Serve as a technical mentor and SME to junior engineers and other technical staff, providing guidance on network issues. - Leading and managing network-related projects, including planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. - Creating and maintaining accurate network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and procedures, and preparing reports on network performance and issues. - Evaluate, research and recommend new technologies, security best practices, and industry trends to enhance scalability and improve network infrastructure and operations. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to support business initiatives and successful deployment of projects. - Perform other duties as assigned to support IT projects and business initiatives. - A bachelor's degree, or equivalent industry experience, in computer science, information technology, engineering or a related field. - Network certifications that validate skills (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, etc.) preferred. - 4+ years of experience in network engineering with in-depth practical knowledge of network and security. - Understanding of network security concepts and best practices. - Experience in leading and managing network projects, including planning, execution, and documentation. - Advanced knowledge of network technologies, communication/routing protocols (TCP/IP), access-control lists, VLANs, VPNs, firewalls, dynamic routing protocols, switching, firewall, and VPN technologies on Cisco, Arista, and PaloAlto equipment, and network security principles. - Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure) and hybrid network environments. - Sound working knowledge of Microsoft Technologies: Active Directory, Server Operating Systems, and Server Virtualization technologies. - Experience with specific network technologies, such as Arista, Cisco, PaloAlto, or other relevant vendor products. - Experience in configuring and troubleshooting network and security related issues. - Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with an attention to detail. - Familiarity with HIPAA privacy/security standards and general security audit expectations. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical audiences. - Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and collaborate with vendors and stakeholders. - Ability to guide and mentor junior engineers, sharing knowledge and expertise. - Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment and manage multiple priorities effectively. - Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional development. - Frequently remains sitting for extended periods of time while performing tasks. - Frequently uses visual and auditory senses for extended periods of time. - Frequently uses computer peripherals requiring the use of hands and fingers. - Frequently works in a well-lit climate-controlled environment. - Frequently concentrates for long periods of time, paying close attention to detail. - Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. or seldom lifts objects with weight up to fifty (50) pounds. - Rarely works on ladders. Salary Range: $135,000 - $150,000. The salary range is for Base Salary.
