Job Title: Senior MongoDB Solutions Architect & Database Engineer

Role Objective

As a Senior Consultant at Vennote Technologies, you will lead a comprehensive Environment Assessment for a major Nigerian Telecommunications provider. You will be responsible for auditing a large-scale, mission-critical MongoDB deployment to ensure it meets global standards for performance, security, and high-availability (HA) in a high-traffic Telco environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Infrastructure Audit: Evaluate current replica set configurations, sharding strategies, and storage engine (WiredTiger) performance to identify bottlenecks.
• Security Assessment: Conduct a full gap analysis on Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), encryption-at-rest/transit, and audit logging to meet Telco regulatory requirements.

Required Technical Profile

• Experience: 8+ years in Database Administration/Architecture, with at least 5 years specialized in MongoDB .
• Telco Expertise: Proven experience managing "Telco-grade" data (High-volume, low-latency environments).

Preferred Qualifications

• MongoDB Certified DBA or Certified Solutions Architect .
• Experience with Nigeria's Data Protection Regulation (NDPR) and its implications for database security.
• Familiarity with the Elastic Stack (ELK) for log monitoring, which aligns with Vennote’s existing infrastructure.
