Job Title: Senior ML Engineer
Location: Poland, Remote/Hybrid/Cracow/Warsaw
Employment Type: Full-time
Salary: 20,000 - 27,000 PLN net (+VAT) mth/b2b

Responsibilities

• Implement new functionalities for software used in ML training and inference pipelines.
• Develop software with a core focus on reliability and performance.
• Translate complex functional and technical requirements into detailed design.
• Collaborate with data scientists.
• Create tools for automating manual processes.

Qualifications

• Strong fundamentals in software engineering: Data Structures, Algorithms.
• Advanced programming skills in Python.
• Experience in Java or Scala (at least willing to learn Scala).
• Experience with SQL databases.
• Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills.
• High care for user experience.
• Openness to learn and understand ML/deep learning concepts.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Rust.
• Experience with Docker/Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of distributed message queues (Kafka).
• Knowledge of distributed databases (Scylla, Clickhouse).
• Experience in writing low-level, highly optimized code.
